He was a pupil of Raphäel Collin, P. Leroy, Gabriel Ferrier and Gervais. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français, where he was a member from 1906. Madrassi exhibited portraits and still lifes. He had a mention in 1907. He worked on illustrating work for the Tharaud brothers, Un Royaume de Dieu. Madrassi traveled extensively in Europe, and Africa, including the Sudan and Senegal.
